Police searching for man wanted in attempted kidnapping case | Crime

The Honolulu Police Department and CrimeStoppers are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for attempted kidnapping.

According to officials, the incident happened on April 23 at about 11 a.m. in Ewa Beach.

Police say the victim was walking on Renton Road toward Asing Park when the suspect pulled his vehicle alongside of her. The suspect offered the victim a ride, but she ignored him.

He then followed the victim on foot and attempted to grab her arm. The victim kicked the suspect and fled.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a white Toyota Tacoma Quad Cab with tinted windows. The rear window also has three large capital "K" stickers with a floral design.

According to police, the suspect is described as a Filipino male believed to be in his 40s. He weighs approximately 200 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police.
